USB Power Delivery (USB PD) is a universal specification that has been designed to enable optimal powering and/or fast charging of connected devices, with up to 100W via a type-C connector. The standard is driven by the vision to extend power supply ease of use, reduce clutter and reduce waste.
NetBit USB Power Delivery
NetBit is developing new power supply designs for customer premises equipment (CPE) that meets the PD3.1 standard whilst incorporating the robustness required by MSOs such as 6kV surge capability and 10 years of E-cap life.
The main benefit of compliance with the PD standard is the ability of flexible and intelligent power management with the connected CPE equipment and can provide power up to 240W depending on the application needs. The type-C connector also enables low-profile designs and compatibility with suitable power supplies, chargers, and accessories.
